There are three main New Haven pizza joints. Two are on Wooster Street: Sally's and Pepe's. Founder Rick Poach grew up going to Pepe's.

None of the pizza joints serve desserts. You'd have pizza and then walk over to Libby's for cookies and ices.

Growing up on Wooster Street, Rick didn't realize he was eating objectively the best pizza in the US.

After moving to Wyoming, there was no other choice but to recreate that experience here.

Wooster Street West highly recommends the documentary "Pizza, a Love Story". When the restaurant opens, employee onboarding will include a required viewing of this documentary so that everyone knows exactly what Wooster Street West is about.
